As the Somaliland government is in talks with the federal government of Somalia, it has begun to arrest politicians from the SSC regions, whom it considers to have contrary opinions to their views.
Osman Qawdhan Warsame has been kidnapped from a hotel in Hargeisa for allegedly supporting Somali unity, this is opposed to the outcome of Djibouti talks.
The people of SSC support the unity of Somalia, but the federal government and the international community do not respect their will.
